Hundreds gather to mourn the death of Jennifer McKenna Morbelli and her daughter Madison Leigh Morbelli

Tragically, last week one of Leroy Carhart's patients passed away from complications following the abortion of her 33 week old unborn child.  The patient, Jennifer McKenna Morbelli passed away on Thursday (February 7, 2013) and her daughter  Madison Leigh Morbelli passed away on Sunday (February 3, 2013) after Leroy Carhart gave Madison a lethal injection to stop her heart from beating.

Please pray for the family of Jennifer and Madison as they mourn their loss.  Pray that God will bring them through this tragic time and that they will be comforted in their time of need.

We have been fearful of a tragedy like this happening.  The prayer warriors of the Germantown 40 Days for Life campaign have been on the public sidewalk praying collectively for almost 3,000 hours over the past two years since Carhart's arrival.  We will continue to gather and pray until the abortions are stopped in Germantown.  We continue to pray that God will open the eyes of Leroy Carhart and that he, his wife, and the staff of GRHS will ALL turn away from this evil and find the peace and forgiveness of sin that only comes through Jesus Christ.

Today, Monday (February 10, 2013), hundreds of people gathered together in front of the development where Germantown Reproductive Health Services is located to mourn the loss of Jennifer and Madison.

Pro-life leaders and local pastors gathered to share with the crowd.  Several of the speakers included Father Frank Pavone (Priest for Life), Michael Martelli (Maryland Coalition for Life), Grace Morrison (PrayForGermantown), Pat Mahoney (Christian Defense Coalition), Anna Higgins (FRC), Catherine Foster (Alliance Defending Freedom), Kristan Hawkins (Students for Life), Mallory Quigley (SBA List), Christa Loppicolo (Archdiocease of Washington), and Day Gardner (National Black Pro-Life Union).

We continue to pray that God will bring an end to the tragedies happening every week here in Germantown.  We pray that no other lives will be lost at the hands of Leroy Carhart and the staff of Germantown Reproductive Health Services.

We need to remember that ALL life is beautiful!  Please continue to pray for Leroy Carhart, his patients and all of the Christians in Maryland to continue to stand up against this evil.
